Qeal Bust

Default image

This poster began as a visual exploration rather than a predefined message. The image is constructed to resemble a video game portal embedded into the city, creating the illusion of an exit that feels urgent, surreal, and slightly unreal. The word “QEAL” is intentionally meaningless. Like the portal itself, it does not explain or resolve anything. It exists as a signal rather than a statement, echoing the logic of game environments where symbols guide movement without requiring clarity or justification. “BUST” introduces narrative tension. The figure appears to be escaping, implying pursuit and pressure rather than progress. The run is instinctive, not heroic a reaction to an unseen threat rather than a destination with purpose. The contrast between the clean, exaggerated architecture and the human body reinforces this sense of artificial space. The poster plays with scale, distortion, and familiarity to blur the line between reality and simulation, treating the city as a playable environment rather than a neutral backdrop.
